Macular Degeneration Risk Factor Testing
New MPOD (macular pigment optical density) instrument measures the amount of macular pigment you have in the back of your eye. That pigment is like a "built in sunglass lens" in your eye so the thinner that pigment is the less protection you eyes are getting and puts you at a higher risk of getting AMD (age-related macular degeneration) in the future. There is a way to make that layer thicker so call us today for your MPOD testing.
